are there any indiglo gauges out there right now? if so, does anybody have pictures of them. in fact, does anybody have any pictures of just white gauges at night time? i would to see how they well they are lit.

Yeah, maybe white gauges with blue-green bulbs would work.
Not red like a Pontiac...

well it depends on if the regular guages are back lit or not. does anybody have pics of their white face gauges at night so i can see if it might work.

No, they're not back-lit; the light just sorta reflects around the sides of the metal can that is the gauge body, to the front of the gauge face. I don't think there's any reasonable way to re-engineer them to be backlit. You'd have to dissassemble them, copy the plates onto plastic and cut and drill, then put on a semi-transparent overlay with letters and numbers.
Then, after all that work, at night you'd still probably be able to see the outline of the mechanism in back of the gauges! I'd think whomever did it would be seriously pissed off!!!
