First of all, there's this nifty entry from Belgium - we have but few pictures of these beasties, and here's one for sale! Unfortunately, they've put the 951 nose on it, instead of the 931 or 937 nose, but it's still very pretty!
924 Turbo Shooting Brake:

And this poor 924 is listed completely in the wrong section; it's got a 931 hood and badge panel, but looks like an early 4-speed car with aftermarket rims. It's in Aurora, IL (Party on, Wayne!):

Cheap, but needs a headgasket, looks like. _________________ Vaughan Scott

good lord . the one in that first link is gorgeous! i can't say i've ever been that attracted to something that so closely resembles a station wagon! I would totally rock that car. _________________ '81 US 931 "Rochelle" |

Didn't the factory make one of those wagons? Actually, for someone handy at chopping and welding, it doesn't look all that difficult to do. Just remove the rear hatch, cut out the side roof supports, remove the rear quarter glass, chop the roof behind the pillars, find a rear roof section from a wagon, weld and buff! Anyone care to guess what wagon top that is? _________________ 1981 931 (Concours)

Buy it now for $40,000...wow!
Look at this then!
http://www.924.org/models/ShootingBrake.htm
This one looks a bit more original - it has 924GT fenders on. The ebay one looks like a modern job with the S2/turbo nose, 944 style flares, weird mirrors and the rear just looks like a really modern style rather than 1980.
Love those roof racks! I just want to put my kayak on it!!!! _________________ 1983 - 924 (185K miles) - not mint

These images on ebay would be a nice addition for the archives...just a little clearer than the one in the tech section.
I prefer the Fuchs.
Suberbia meets the Porsche. I still think its pretty cool though. |

not made by porsche, its made by DP. do a search in the 924/ 944 forums in pelican and you'll see quite a few threads on them including pics of one getting made! Theres a lot more pics of that silver converted 931 too. i saved them but burnt them off so they could be anywhere! _________________ '86 944 |

It's like "The Kramer" in Seinfeld.
It's hideous. And yet I can't look away... _________________ '80 924 Turbo |

Will that front bumper fit on a '78 924? I really like the way that looks. |

I believe it does actually. It's also got a glass sunroof of some kind...for that little money it might be worth it for the hood, badge panel and bumpers...possibly sunroof if it's any good. Oh yeah, and that passenger seat is real nice too _________________ Mike
