If you decide to change over, you have alot of parts to replace. However, one item you won't need is the rear suspension unit. All you need to do is saw off the snail suport arms a few inches past where the trailing links attach. I have done this and there is no interference. However, if you are converting a '79 N/A, the audi type suspension is a good idea because it will have the thicker torsion bars 23.5mm vs. 22mm. In addition, it always nice to add the rear sway bar if your old unit doesn't have one.
