2000 mile trip with the turbo

Just completed a round trip from NYC to Atlanta and back. Car ran great and I was a little disappointed in the mileage. 27.5 at an average of 80mph. No power steering was a little much with 16 in rims with Kuhmos. Don't forget the lowered car and HD shocks. Great grip and maybe too much.
The next trip is soon to Dallas. Round trip about 3000. I will take my 944 on this one. Power steering you know.

Hey Vince,

good post, but why engine transplants?
Was it a reanimating trip?
