|
|
To post a picture to this board, you need to upload your files to a server that is on the internet, then post the address to your pictures here.
Step1) Follow the steps to upload a picture at one of the free image hosting sites listed below (there are more in the replies to this post):
http://imageshack.us/
http://photobucket.com/
http://www.tinypic.com/
Step2) After you have uploaded your picture(s), the image hosting service will give you a URL address to use - copy it.
Step3) Make you post on 924board.org, and where you wish to use a picture, click the button marked "Img" at the top of the post editor. Paste your address in then click the "Img" button once more. Your post should look like something this:
Yea guys I just wanted to show you my new 17" wheels, check em out [img]http://www.photohost.com/addressToYourPic.jpg[/img]
Preview your post to check then you are done! For people that have done it, reply with your favorite image hosts. _________________ 1979 931 with a 350 chev

Ohh yeah, I have found it easier to design and program a 16 inj 1500 bhp behemoth running full sequential on a superflow dyno than it is to upload pics here .

This topic http://www.924board.org/viewtopic.php?t=1639 includes details about how to post a thumbnail of your picture that opens the fullsize picture when you click on it
good for when you have really big pics and you want to be nice to guys on dial-up or a swamped work connection. _________________ 1979 924 (Gone to a better place)

Another thing I just remembered;
The link to your picture(s) must end in .jpg, .gif or .png. Some photo hosting places do not allow you to link directly to the picture so you get a link like http://www.photodump.com/myhot924&pic=124eds6667
If that's what your photo host does then either change to one of the ones suggested above or post the link(s) without the [img]...[/img] tags and people can click the link(s) to see your pics. _________________ 1979 924 (Gone to a better place)
