I don't know if I have a fuel leak but i'm just wondering due to my fume problem giving me headaches. One of my parent's friends today found out that her car is leaking gas and the mechanic told her she was luck her car didn't blow up. She was also complaining about getting dizzy and sick while driving, my mom told me this so it kinof made me paranoid about my car.

I don't smell gasoline inside the car unless the car doesn't start and I keep on cranking it but thats the smell of the gas coming out the exhaust and the windows are open.

someon arlready said to check the gas hose in teh trunk, I've never seen a gas hose in the trunk area but I'll look.

how do you tell if a gas hose is leaking, gas evaporates so you can't see wet spots.

anyone also knwo how you remove this and replace it with a new one to make it airtight?

Put your car safely up on four jack stands with blocks under all four wheels just in case. Jumper the fuel pump relay so the pump runs continuously while the engine is NOT running. Get a light and lie under your car and follow the fuel lines from the tank to the engine compartment and back. Easy as that.
