Hi, I am about to turbo convert my 924 NA and I will weld my own manifold, is there anyone who has something like a drawing or just the data on how the drilling patterns are.. I would do as much work as possible before I dissasambe the engine, and as I have done it before... I know what a hell it is to remove the exhaust manifold..

Is there anything we can do to talk you out of this?

See my reply in the 931 section.
To make a pattern for the manifold just get an old exhaust gasket and cut some flanges based this then use thick wall tube mahe teh stubs and then the 'log' section to get the gas to the turbo.
Don't use thin wall exhaust tube as this will fail after a while better to use steam tube - heavier but more durable. |
