Was there a point or a question to that post?

well too start off I don't have the tools (saw), I guess I could buy a dremel they are pretty cheap and straight forward to use.
obviously I have an oven in my house but I live at home and I don't think my parents will be too happy with me baking acrylic in their oven. _________________ 78 924 sold.

I kinof want to try this when I have the time.
the problem would be getting the proper tools.
a dremel cutting tool doesn't cost much.
but what abou that vented oven? and the explosive gasses...
I thought about using a toaster oven but it isn't vented so that wouldn't be a good idea.
anyone know of a safer and cheaper way to form the acrylic without an oven?
like heating the acrylic placed on the headlight with a heat gun?
might be slower but it would be cheaper and safer. _________________ 78 924 sold.

I tried a heat gun two years ago. Not happy with results. Problem was the crease that came out straight instead of curved. Still looking for a better way. _________________ "Never let them see you sweat"

Wow, this how-to is pretty awesome!
Would HIDs be usable in the buckets? |

Dont get a dremel get a roto-zip ..I used a dremel successfully porting and polishing a head worked really well then I tried it on something else and burned it up well this last week I burned that one seems there quite limited
as there useage compared to my rotozip though a variable power switch would be nice. _________________ 1979 porsche 924 Na

Any thoughts on using this technique to do a hatch. Take a resin mould from the inside of a glass hatch and use a powder coating oven to heat it all up. Would it work?? _________________ Chris |

Yea you know what else would look cool is if you cut like 2
circles in the bumper and installed recessed round foglites say
inset on each side of the bilnker/ driven lights how ever far you
wanted to. Dont think youd want to do it to a euro bumper. _________________ 1979 porsche 924 Na
