I found a thermo fan switch with 3 metal connectors that are bordered by a rectangular plastic piece. It seems like a plug with 3 terminals uses this switch. I have heard the later 944 engines has this plug.
My 924S has a thermo fan switch with only 2 wires coming from them. So it appears that I have a thermo fan switch with 2 metal connectors. Can the fan switch with the 3 metal connectors be used for this car? |

The 2-conductor thermofan switches are readily available, since they were also used on VWs and Audis.
You should be able to get the correct replacement at almost any auto parts store. Check a VW shop for a German made one. |
