This afternoon I called Rennsport out here in Oregon they do motors for 911s ..I chatted with the guy lengthly about the woes of the 924 head. Why no 1 works on em Saying I know. when I spoke up - yea thats why they redesigned the head for
the turbo.. He spoke up yea now theres a car you can make pretty quick.. So it seems you can spend thousands on the 924 motor
and only get like its been said 50 ponies
he also said exspensive head work would only yield 25-30 ponies. He did say though there were a couple people in Cal. that do 924s from when they were being raced a while ago
was athere a class that had modified(allowed
head work)
924s

So I asked him if it was ok to take the head to a v8 builder I know where the best is in this town and have the head just cleaned up and opened up ...yea he says. I dont know
am I gonna do this or can some one in Cal.
or close to Oregon speak up ..there s places out there maybe wash.
