Don't get you hopes up...

The number look unrealistic to me. You can buy all the early 924 cars you like out here in CA for less than $1500 a piece.

I think if I could get $4950 for my 78, I'd sell tomorrow.

those numbers are very "optomistic" , though i think the overall value has crept up a bit over the past couple of years, but only for the nicest examples .. on the upside, when you need one, there still an excellant bargain compared to most other cars..

Yes, they are US dollars. I wouldn't consider the numbers resale figures. I would use them more as an appraised value guide. For insurance purposes, my 924 was appraised at $7,500 Canadian, a value that generally matches the figure from the Excellence table...
