The 931 project was really just me getting warm again...
Presume most of you have seen one of my quasi race cars?
If not...

Anyways.
It IS a true streeter, and i indeed use it a LOT.
Have pondered the idea to soup it up even more....
As a result i´ve been giving some thought to using two Holset HX50 on a 434 smallblock chebby...
Injected of course...

So.
Any ideas or thoughts?

That is really hot. What is it? Dont see many of that kind of car in Aus. The line of bodywork after the front wheel arch is just beautiful.

It's a hot-rodded Chevy Camaro R/S, pre-1974 vintage (chrome bumpers front/rear), but what year I'm not sure.

It is an early 924. If you look closely you can see the telltale cracked dash.

Good disguise and you almost fooled most of us. Good try.

Alrighty then...about as far from a canyon carver as it gets...
None the less tho...
Car is a 69 camaro RS that´s been modified "somewhat".
Somewhat meaning that the OEM leaf spring suspension has been retired and a prism welded 9" ford rear suspended in a so called 4 link has been adopted instead. All in the name of straight line performance.
Altho we´ve draged the car around to different show over the yrs,she is by all means a runner.(even been sported on Swedish national TV)
This is basically one of three cars of that caliber that i own.(starting to feel a little out of bounds from a Porsche perspective here.. )

None the less...
So far we´ve only been running smallblocks in it.
Mainly because of a CBB;s weight handicap.
This yr however i´m gonna stuff my injected and juiced 495 BB in it.
That gun has made the needle of a dyno point to 1284 of the good ones on good friends dyno.. (on the bottle that is)

Trans is basically a hard core modded TH350 slush box, with all the "good" internals, full manual valve body, transmission brake asf.
Rear axle per above.
Rear tires are a set of M&H wrinkle walls so called cheaters of 17,5 width.
Still dont run a spool tho,but a measely lim slip diff.
Summer brohs drive axles asf.

Yup...this is one of the "here comes the sky with front wheel about a yard or so up as we leave the hole" kind a deals...

However...back on topic...
As i wrote i´ve been giving some thought to building up a dual turbo 434 from some pts i got laying around.
Block is a bowtie "wet" 18 deg splayed cap.
Crank is a BRC 4" stroke internal balance 4340 thingy.
Rods are Crowers super speedway titanium.
Slugs are from Ross.
Heads a pair of heavily ported obscure 15 deg pontiac thingys, filled with DelWest stuff and Jesel stands asf.

Intake still to be decided, but EFI will probably be a local one built by some of the "good ol boys" around town.
Giving some thought to a hilborn setup -per the CBB i mentioned above.
Aim is getting 1500 of the honest ones out of that engine.
Intercooler will be purpose built by the same guy that made the one for my 931.
The HX50 units will flow air well into the 2000 mark if called upon.

So...
Any ideas?
