is it possible to have an html code added that if you have a private message that it flashes the text? I sometimes forget to look

I'll apply some thought. Perhaps we could pop up a little message box when you log in.

Could also look at sending an email similar to the one you get if you tick the "notify" box when you start a new thread.

I got a private massage once and it was very nice but I don't see how you could do this with a computer unless of course you were messaging your own privates.

wow that was an easy one.

It's actually already built into the software. All you have to do is to remember to login (as opposed to viewing as a guest) occasionally.

If you have any private messages you'll get an extra line in the page header thus:
