"Question:
Aren't platinum spark plugs the best?

Answer:
No. As a matter of fact, platinum is one of the worst conductors. The reason
why platinum spark plugs are used is for longevity only. Platinum spark
plugs can last up to 100,000 miles. If you are looking for longevity,
platinum is for you. If you are looking for performance, choose silver. "

my add ons: if u are to cheap to by silver, the next best is copper. Not
just copper core plugs.....FULL copper electrode AND copper core...check
that out, don't fall for the "copper core" plugs with crappy conducting
electrodes made of crappy metal.
Crap.

lars.
