Mine doesnt pulse but it whines and kind lurches around when cruising its kind of hard to shift... down to 1 st wont happen fast but safe rpm 2nd will though I think its kind of weared out
does anyone want to tell me about replacing
the synchros 1 st - 2nd where to get them and if it entails getting into real the guts and ( it does) it doesnt mean messin with the differential does it. I have a replacement and its time soon. _________________

You do not have to go into the differential area. However, if you are not a pretty good mechanic, I do not recommend that you try to replace the synchro's on youe own. It is a pretty complex operation.
