hey, digging up old topics and info as of late, was wondering besides having to have a custom flywheel made up in order to use the VW TDI crank, do you have to use certain connecting rods? or are the stock ones fine, also has anyone confirmed the spacing or the journals? _________________ 3 928s, |

| no one has confirmed anything . at this point its an educadted guess . you'll need shorter con rods , at least 5.5 mm shorter to maintain the same space between piston and head as stock 924 . the diesel had a rubber center clutch disk , how similar I dont know . if you check my part interchanges post , theres a list of vw/audi pressure plates that interchange with the 924's ,it might help . ya never know , it might be possible to cobble together a clutch/disk/plate setup with whats available from VAG |
