my 1984 924 has very bad starting problems the engine turns over very slowly sometimes not at all i put a new battery in on saturday which seemed to help but very little change in turnover just turns longer.
went out and started today with little problem but after turning off it won't even crank the engine just a click from somewhere under the bonnet.
starter was reconed a year ago could it be that?
I appreciate any help thanks.....Rab |

Sounds like a conectivity problem. Check and clean all the connections from the battery to the starter and the battery to the ground points.
Then post the results in the general section and we can go from there... _________________ Glenn Neff

add a new ground wire to the engine from the chassis, or the battery. _________________ 3 928s, |
