Checked my rotors today, which look really scored. As far as I can tell without a nice micrometer, they are too thin for a resurface. I checked Paragon and they have a good deal on normal/oem disks ($39). But I was wondering whether to get them or spend the extra $20 each for their gas slotted or the cool ATS-type I saw in either Tweeks or Perf Prod. Any recommendations?

Also, pads look 1/4inch thick or better right now. Still debating whether too just deglaze them or get new. The Mintex look good and inexpensive too. Any experiences?

I was advised by some people who race 924's in the UK, that OEM disks and Mintex Pads were the best compromise for stret use. I've been using them for a while now, and they are excellent, the hotter they get then the better they bite !. The only disadvantage is heaps more brake dust than the standard pads.
