Dear members.

I have another thriving group that is in the process of building home
built aircraft for up to 2 people.

If you guy's can build Porsches you can build an airplane.

I am a disabled veteran and I am.

I set up this group for like minded people such as myself.

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/sportplane

they use everything from 2 strokes to vw to subaru to honda to
motocycle engines to model A and lastly the corvair flat 6 engine.

The planes are built of either the following materials :

wood, aluminum, 4130 tubing, composite and dope and fabric.

The flight instruments an avionics should be a breeze for you guys to
scrounge up and install.

all you need is a valid drivers license and 20 hours instruction to get the new light sportplane license.

the airplanes that qualify have to be fixed gear, no more than 2 seater, not flown at night , weigh in fully loaded with people at less than 1250 lbs and stall speed of less than 45mph.

If you have plans I have 10 plans and engine and conversion manuals for $100 usd on cdrom

haven't flown an experimental or homebuilt. I am looking into building a Sonerai, hopefully can start next summer. right now I am studying up the plans and getting my welding skills together.
the sport plane license is pretty cool, can get some people into aviation that cant get a medical certificate.
I am a student pilot, I should have my private certificate by the end of the month.
