I've posted this before, and actually got a very good diagram, but when I went back to the topic, the link was broken to the diagram. Jon Furst posted it, and it was really good, and I need it again. Does anyone have this?

No emissions sticker to tell me where they go.

This is the last thing before I fire my engine!

Here you go. I uploaded it to my Rennlist site.

FWIW, this is for a North American-spec 1980 924.

I think the 82 is different because my carbon canister only has one vacuum tube coming off of it i think.

The '82 is different. Sorry, I don't have a diagram for you. You might just check under your hood if the diagram sticker is still intact.

Here's the sticker on my '82 931 - http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/smoothies931pics/detail?.dir=/bdb3&.dnm=29ea.jpg&.src=ph
Most of it should be of no use to you, but the charcoal canister lines should be similar if not the same. The idea of the charcoal canister is to absorb fumes from the gas tank (hydrocarbons) instead of releasing to the atmosphere, there should be more than one line to it to do what has to be done. That is, absorb fumes while you're parked, then release them to the intake the next time the engine's run. You need one large line to the gas tank, another to the intake, plus a small vacuum line to the "purge valve" (aka- "control valve" as labeled on the sticker) that's opened/closed by vacuum that's in turn supplied or not supplied based on engine temperature.
