Hi

Just thought the group might be interested in a fuel sender problem I had.
The gauge was always reading empty and removing the sender unit I could see why - the bottom of the tube had fallen off!
This is the part that fixes the centre fo the tube (and its spine) and ensures the float is central so it can move up and down. With this plate gone, the float was jammed. I managed to fish the plate out from the tank using two pieces of wire and put it back on the sender unit.
