Do you think a 924S with some engine Mods would beat a 3000GT VR4

Probably not. Even though the 3000GT VR4 is a huge heavy pig of a car (3750+ lbs) the 924S (2750lbs) has a serious power disadvangate. Even if you got a MAF kit, a header, a K&N air filer, and a chip, you'd probably need to pull out 200lbs. of weight just to keep up with the Mitsu.

Personally, were I you, I'd either sell the 924S and get a 944 turbo, or get over my speed jones and spend that money on suspension stuff. Those MAF kits are expensive.

YA I know they are $$$$ but the advantage is worth the money. How much do 944 T go for about $15,000. Those are crazy cars. If you get a aftermarket turbo you can get like 300hp at the wheels. How much do they weight.

The 300 hp VR-4 can get to 60 in 5.8 seconds
The 320 hp VR-4 can get to 60 in 5.4 seconds.
The above but in Spyder can do 60 in 5.6 sec.

It would take some good work to take one of those out...

P.S. A friend of mine has a Spyder, but with 650 hp....

No, I do not want to race him. That's ok.
