Am in the process of trying to get all the instruments right - what do i need to do to the 924S rev counter to convert it so it reads right for a V8? I see there are four wires on the back of the counter, an earth, a live (ignition) and two others. Does anyone know where these should be connected? I am assuming i can increase the resistance in the reading side of the rev counter to suit the V8 ignition pulses as it is simply twice as many as the original....

you may be able to open up the tach, and change a resitance value in there to make it work with a V8. what I did was build a simple frequency divider, using a single j/k flip flop, works great...
