And there's those cookie-cutters again. Damn good-looking wheels, those... _________________ '80 924 Turbo |

We have to find Khal some cookie cutters, or a lobster bib to keep the drool off his key board.
I think it is just the deep lip that makes them look good on these cars. The depth gives them a more muscular look.
I personally do not care for any of the flat faced wheels, even phone dials are to blah looking. IMHO the "trash can" is the least appealing of all the typical wheels. No offense to those of you who have spent hours polishing your UFO's to a mirror finish. _________________ MJ

The color is amazing!!!!! in the pic it looks Guards red but its actually 2004 Audi S4 Brilliant Red.
A little lighter and flashier than Guards. _________________ 88 951 stone gray

Are those 4x6 inch cookies chocolate chip, or oatmeal scotchies?
Damn big for cookies, but a little small for wheels. _________________ MJ

Khal,
Go for some fuch wheels rather than cookie cutters.
Performance9 has loads of them, would not be cheap but a great looking wheel.

I've got cookie cutters on my car already. It's just handy to have a spare or two (I've managed to crack one already... don't ask The replacement wasn't cheap, about AU$350 2nd-hand)
Mine are dished at the back and flat-faced at the front -wider on the back, I think 7" but I'm not entirely sure, running 225/50/15's (205/55/15 fronts)
I really like the fuchs, Carris (you mean with the clover-leaf style spokes, right?) but I personally reckon the cookie-cutters look pretty damn good on these cars. Mine have silver centres (not black) with the chrome rims.
Top paint job by the way! _________________ '80 924 Turbo |

Ok if this is a 931 why does it look like a 944 with the 931 nose and hood? I am jealous, I was looking at the spare 944 just the other day wondering how I could transfer the flairs to my 931. I was going to use the 944 front finders and valance then maybe the gt rear flairs. _________________ 1980 931

Because thats what I did, except I went with complete rear quarters from a 944 also. Here is a pic after the surgery, before finished.
