I know this is possible, but just how hard of a conversion is it? Is the engine bay the same? all the exhaust? ELECTRIC? anyone every succesfully done this conversion?

I have never done it but I can get you a good 87 944 turbo motor 90K miles for $2200 complete.

Oh course you really want to go nuts and put in the newest 4 cylinder Porsche made? I can also get a 1994 968 3.0 236hp engine with 54K miles on it for $4650. That includes the wire harness and DME.

Just a thought.
