I've been looking around for more swap ideas, when I came to a realization. The 01E 6-speed Audi Transaxle was used in the 2.7L V6 S6, right? Well, judging from the pics of one of these trannies, it looks to have the identical bolt pattern and spacing as the 924 bellhousing. So the REAL question is, does anyone know for certain if the other Audi engines (like the V6 and V8 ones) would not fit? 'Cuz I have a hunch they just might...

I barely pump my own gas {after I left the station without my gas cap, swishing litres of gas all over the road and the side of my car}.

as long as the block will bolt up and the flywheel bolt pattern will accept the flywheel from your porsche or who knows it may even be the same spline shaft it should fit. one thing to check is motor mount location . I pull alot of motors and I know most front wheel drive blocks use different mount locations than rear wheel .
