okay, well the back end of my talon tsi got f'ed up pretty bad, and is unrepairable. So now I have the whole engine/tranny/drivetrain and a 924S with a broken flexplate damper. If i could I would like to put my turbo engine/tranny,etc. in my 924S. How hard do you think this would be, please post your comments. Thanks. _________________ My Old Porsche Thats Sold

What's the distance from the crank to the top of the head on the 4G63? If you put one in would it fit under the hood or would you need to hack the hood? The 4Gs have a very low profile head due to their old style rocker-arm arrangement so it might fit without messng up the hood.
Still, as people who have done it always say, making the engine fit is the easiest part of any transplant. Don't forget about wiring, computer, instruments etc etc. _________________ 1979 924 (Gone to a better place)
