has anyone put one of these distributors on their 931. i was wondering how you would get two lines to one injector. now that i think about it the whole air flow meter would need to be changed wouldn't it. i know i don't need more fuel unless i'm going to flow more air, which is what i plan to do. |

What I've seen of pics of the cars (the GTR) is that they had literally 8 lines coming out of the 928 fuel distributor/AFM, with 4 little castings which formed tees to join 2 lines to one, resulting in an 8->4 joining. They could conceivably be done by any capable machine shop, or even sourced by adding the right fittings.

are there any pictures on the internet i could look at. i've never seen any of the engine. but what you're talking about is what i had imagined. thanks. |

Sorry, my goof, it's the GTS, not the GTR... that's what I get for staying up till late hours playing with cars...
I have a picture in a magazine (old copy of 911 and Porsche World) that shows it, but haven't scanned it in... I need to get a Round 'Tuit... ifyaknowwhatimean...
