Is the Chilton manual as good "or bad" as the Haynes manual. The reason I ask, I see them going for up to $50 on E-bay.
How about the Factory 4 volume porsche set.Is it worth buying?
How about the pet5 porsche CD?
One more. How is the Bosch K-Jetronic book?
Don't buy the Haynes Fuel injection book, It sucks.
So far I've done OK with Haynes manual and varios FAQ's but you know what they say."A little more knowedge can be dangerous"

I would recommend actually the Probst book for learning more about Bosch FI; a lot of the info is taken from the Bosch manuals, but it's a little better explained by Probst.
The 4-volume factory set is incredibly complete and exhaustive, but generally not necessary; between what we have here in the Tech Section/FAQ and the Haynes manual, you'll be well covered.
I don't know if the Chilton is any good for this car, but my past experience with other cars has been that the Haynes has been superior.

as a great little read it's hard to go past the Bosch Automotive Handbook. It's got info about everything to do with engine-driven things.
Vaughan, I'm surprised you didn't give your employers a plug for this one.

Yeah, well, I've read numerous Bosch books, and the Probst book is based on the Bosch ones, but easier to get... the Bosch ones come direct from SAE as I recall... I can get them as an SAE member, or directly through Bosch, but not the rest of you...
