I am interested in finding out where I can obtain the 924 and paint colors. I am spacificly looking for "silver rose" and "mint green". any help is appreciated.

With the correct paint code, any decent autobody shop should be able to mix the paint for you. Getting the codes is the only issue. I have all of the US codes, they're in my factory manuals, I've been meaning to put them on the website, just have to find time. I'll try to dig out the codes specifically for you, though.
I'd recommend sticking with the 80-82 colors, though - most of the non-typical 924 colors I've seen suck!!! The ones from the '70's, that is. Just like everything else from the '70's.

Sorry, don't see either of those in the original paint colors. Must not be original 924 colors, at least not in the US/76-82.
I do know Silver Rose Metallic was a special 88 951S only color.
Here's some greens from the factory:
Signal Green L62Y
Resada Green Metallic 95E
Colibri Green Metallic L99Y
Onyx Green Metallic LD6V
Conifer Green LB6A
Lhasa Green Metallic LA6V
One day I'll type this all up and post it...

I have recently acquired a '79, and the factory color is faded to a brown, instead of a copper. (I'm guessing that is what it was) I was wondering if someone could tell me some of the color options that were available for the '79 and '80 models.
I am interested in a green color, but I can't seem to locate any pictures of them so that I can decide on which one.
Any help would be appreciated.
