I am new to the 931 world.
So what parts can we put on these cars?
Intercooler? Yes, but what kind? Are Carrera intercoolers easily found, they lower the charged air by 50 C.
Ignition controls? MSD, etc. I know on the 81-82 it should not be possible to do this, am I correct?
Wastegates or boost controllers? Manual boost control? or add a 911 1 bar spring?
Cams? Franco Timing gear?
I will let you have these questions for now! While I think of more.

Boost control.
Camshaft isn't a good idea unless you want to drive it in the urban areas all the time I predict. Higher comp pistons and upping the boost are good for town driven turbos. |

How EXACTLY would one go about raising the boost on an '81 931 to, oh, say, 1 bar and still have a reliable engine? Also, can this be done for a reasonable amount of money, and what kind of power figures are we talking? Thanks for the info,

By purchasing a 1 bar boost spring for a 911 I think from the same year as our car? I am not positive but I know there is a 1 bar boost spring that porsche has that will fit.

It's sold by Andial, http://www.andial.com, and info is available in the Tech Section (link above) as one would expect.
