I cam across a site that has fuel distributos for the 924, cost about $350

Not bad. I don't need one but if I did, I thought they'd be something like $600-$800 and tough to find.
The number on my '82 931's fuel dist matches this one from that site:

Porsche CIS fuel
distributor.
#0-438-100-048
Bosch Fuel Distributor
FD73X Porsche
924 80-81 1983cc engine
$349.95

All this talk of fuel distributors. I'm pretty sure the 924S does NOT have one, but if I'm wrong, could someone tell me please?

the 924S has a EFI type system and does not use a mechanical fuel distributor, so you are correct

whew. thanks Lizard. I figured the fuel rail going directly to the injectors meant that there was no distributer, but sometimes ya just gotta double check.
