Hey, just some info for you folks. Most of you probably now the 924 2L was a van engine, but, did you know it was used in carbureted form in the AMC Pacer? This is according to my new Porsche Buyers Guide book. Pretty crazy! _________________ Find me a 931! |

Yeah, we had a year long discussion on this back when Larso used to post here. He was very pissed that his Porsche shared an engine with a Pacer. This engine was also used in a farm tractor. Before any of you panic, think how many different applications the Chevy 350 was used in. The fact that a lot of different people have bought the rights to use this engine in a lot of different applications is just a testament to how well built and versatile these engines are. _________________ 1980 924 Turbo |
