Thinking about getting rid of my nasty brown interior and changing it to black. Just wondering if the doors cards of a 944 are interchangable?

Anyone tried?

The same. Only difference is some doors might have speakers and some might not.

BTW: Put 944 doors on your car and you will gain 50 extra hp... little known trick that isn't published everywhere

Forget the speaker grilles... put in some nice big 6.5" speakers with their own grilles... I just put in a pair of JBL GTO360's in my doors... $70 for the pair from Crutchfield, sound awesome... and yes, they do fit, though it's tight...

When you have a Porsche, you do not need a stinking R to make you think you have a fast car. Ricers must go! Here in San Antonio the Ricers clog up our downtown area with crusing for hours. It is funny to watch, I just wonder how they get the money from working at McD's to make all those mods. I work my butt off and still they have more toys in their cars. Oh wait, maybe if I count the girlfriend, the couch, the 5.1 stereo, the P4. Anyone want to buy a Play Station 2??? JK It's all Good.

But really who needs a stupid R on their car???

Another option is to dye the vinyl in the car. I used the (duplicolor?) vinyl dye from Pep Boys, and it has lasted two years of daily driving and Texas heat. I did the entire interior including the dash, door panels are two-tone, and the console. This stuff sprays like spraypaint and bonds permanently to anything made of plastic or vinyl. Cheap, easy, and it looks really good.
