Need some help in replacing the torque tube bearings in a '80 924, 4sp.
The mechanic took it off, but he still has to figure it out, how to replace those bearings inside the housing.
Any helpful suggestions?

(still needs a lot of work...)
Ps. He said buying another TT would be too expensive (Hungary, Europe), and no way he can't do it for less than that.

Take a look in the Tech Section, Part 7-Transaxle. This should give you all the info you need.

Thanks for the info, it helped.
Now one more question: what is the part number of those bearings?
Couldn't really find them, on the rennlist archive I've found a post that states it's 6006ZB C4, but I cannot find any bearing with this number.
