I found a 1982 924 Turbo junked in the back of a half ass used car lot. The question is, is the front windshield interchangeable with a 1988 924S built in 7/87? Second Question; How much is a brand new windshield for an 88 924S. If it turns out that a brand new windshield cost more than the junked car and I decide to buy the entire car would anybody be interested in any part of the 82 turbo. It appears that the engine is in one piece, the rest of the body doesn't appear to be all that bad except the right fender is white the car is black.

I live in Houston,Texas. I will try to find out the price of the car sometime next week. I work 11.5 hours a day and spend about 1.5 hours on the freeway coming home in bumper to bumper traffic in 90 degree weather with out air condition, I get home a little woreout, so it might be a few days before I can respond.

Victor, I have been to Houston in the summer. How can you live without air conditioning? Anyway, I would be interested in the brake set-up. What wheels does the car have?

Well as it turns out i found out the price of the 82 924 turbo, he wants' $1000 dollars for it. My 88 924S cost me $2500 and my car runs great, the 82 hasn't seen pavement in years. In other words i won't be buying the car. Sorry maybe next time!
Somebody asked the question, How do you drive in Houston weather with out air conditioning? Well I turn catatonic for about 1.5 hours and amuse my self with all the wrecks that accure on the freeway. Don't worry their all minor.
