I can’t find the paint code on my 81 931.

I have looked everywhere, engine compartment, doors, door jams, rear hatch under the carpet, and the spare tire well. Does anyone know where it is, or has it been removed.

The color, I was told was Champagne, however, I can’t find this color listed in Porsche literature or on any websites. Looks close to the “Platinum Metallic” that is on listings, but it is hard to tell from internet colors.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I looked there, that's one of the spots that it is suppose to be but it's not.

I have a feeling that it has been removed by a previous owner.

Looked over the list of color codes and Champagne is not there. I bet that it is the Platinum metallic LM8U

I think that I will order a can of touch up spray (it only $20.00) and see it if matchs.
