Need some help; whenever I let off the gas I hear a popping noise underneath the car when coasting. It doesn't do it if I push in the clutch. Does anyone have any ideas what this may be ?

Thanks...

Toby,

I have the same exact problem, although I don't know what the fix is. with mine it was like a clicking noise starting from zero, and when I put the clutch in... nothing? I thought it might be a drive shaft or something, when I went to have it looked at, it stopped... then came back... then stopped again (for the past few months) I thought it might rain or extreme heat/weather related expanding a joint or something.

Anyway... sorry no solution, but I'm glad that someone out there has the same problem... if you find the solution, please post it for me, so I can get mine into the shop to have it looked at

thanks,

Jim
