ok guys... I took off the distributor and cant figure out how to get it back on right. i don't have a manual. im assuming there is a mark on the rotor somewhere to line up with the housing? please help me.

That's what you think!

With the engine at #1 TDC, the rotor will point about to the rear-most bolt on the intake manifold. Just a general pointer to get you in the zone; you'll still need to set the timing properly once you get the engine started.

It is a very very small nick, if dirt is in it you might not notice it...feel with your finger nail as a last resort.

They don't even circle it or point to it in haynes. silly haynes.
