Found out that my car has genuine Bilstein struts. Might be interesting to post a picture.
When I searched the PET they are marked Carrera GT, they are probably optional for for more models, like the 931.

The inserts are threaded into the bottom of the struts and secured with a nut.
They are incredibly stiff in compression, very much like the Bilstein Clubsport/Rennen available for the 911. Jumping on the door sill and the car doesn't move at all.

The inserts are upside-down and the body of the insert rides on 3 bushings in the strut. Unfortunately the upper (at least the upper) are worn out on this strut.

If someone knows where to find bushings please let me know.
