It should work. It works for me both on laptops and mobile phones.
It's on my local web server (I keep it in my basement), but... Let me know, I can move it to external web server later. _________________ ---

So I plugged in the pressure tester.
Initially when cold at 16 deg Celsius I had around 2 bar. Kind of ok’ish.
Closed the valve and it bumped to 5.8 bar (good).
Did the open/close valve few times and the pressure when valve open dropped to 1 bar. At close it’s stable 5.8. Few more tries and it stabilized with valve open at 0.8 bar - not good. Valve closed still 5.8 bar.
I disconnected the cold start injector as when the pressure dropped I heard some shhh noise not sure from where. Blanked the cold start injector at distributor to be sure it’s not leaking. And the pressure with valve opened still at 0.8bar. So that’s not the cold start valve (injector).
Injectors are squiling when open, and they are almost brand new, so I expect the culprit is WUR.
What you think? _________________ ---

As I got a lightweight bonnet ($250) without the NACA duct, I was just thinking...
Maybe I should do one by myself. Took the shape of the stock 931 NACA duct.
Cut it from paper and glued together:
3D printed:
And now I will make it from 2mm sheet aluminum. That's the plan.
I will be able to glue it under the lightweight bonnet.
The concern I have is should I mount it above the exhaust side as the factory 931 bonnet, or the other side, intake side? _________________ ---

I do like asymmetric approach in life
In theory the more heat (energy) the exhaust gases carry, the faster the turbocharger spins. Cooling the exhaust with fresh air could impact performance. Not sure if this is at all noticeable, for sure not by me, but when doing it, why not do it right? _________________ ---

I've been prepping a 931 hood for a mold on-and-off forever now. Its like the project I never work on

I really lack time to work on this car
Managed to sort out the WUR it seems. Something must have been stuck.
Checked the pressures and it's going up as intended and then stays rock solid.
Finally I also relocated my WUR. The stock location of it and my big hands don't go well together. For the time being mounted with zip ties, but I will finally make a proper mount for it.
I used steel braided custom length brake hoses for the fuel lines. Works and looks nice.
I still have some issues with AAV. When warming up revs stays to high. When I knock on the AAV these drop. I need to remove the AAV and give it a WD40 bath or so, maybe it will help.
There is however other thing that worries me just slightly. I must have an air leak or so, a small one. Maybe throttle not closing completely...
When started warm and idling I get AFR around 14.7. RMP around 900 according to the dial. And then I knock on AAV or intake and RPM stays at 900, but AFR changes to 13.8ish. Maybe Idle screw that is not sealed properly (had this issue with my 951), maybe throttle not getting back to the "idle" position (return spring to soft?).
Any ideas how to find that little leak? _________________ ---

Some times I see that my pics that lay on my home www server won't show up. I tried to nail that some time ago, and it seems it's related to handling https or http traffic. Fore some http hosted pics work, for others https for some both (me). Not sure why it is like that. Try to copy link to photo into browser directly, it should open. _________________ ---

A right click on the photo icon and selecting "open image in new tab" brought it up for me. Maybe some kind of miscommunication between the server and BBS when the thread loads, but I'm no expert. _________________ 1980 931 diamond in the rough |
