Very sexy!
What did you use for the turbo flange, did you cut off an old one or start from scratch? _________________ Vaughan Scott

Nice! Hows the space against the surrounding stuff? And the nuts on the flange for example? Will you attack the wg line as the stock exhaust? _________________ 1980 924 Turbo

We used a stock flange, just to tack to it for placement, The turbo I'd like to used has a 3" V-band. For the stock turbo there would have to be 3-2.5" stepdown
there is actually more clearance with this pipe than the factory. With the stock pipe its too close to the J pipe, so you have to remove the J pipe before you can pull off the down pipe. (because the DP has to move backwards to clear the studs on the hotside, and it hits the J pipe) We adjusted so there is more room.
The turbo I want has an integrated WG and BOV _________________ It was either this or a giant box of legos |
