|
|
After Weber's sat for a while it was time to put them on the car and noticed only 1 accelerator pump was spitting fuel out. I cleaned everything (soda blasted it and ran everything through an ultrasonic cleaner) and still 1 accelerator pump is working. (this time a different one). what is going on. I'm 99.9% sure I built them correctly. not my first time and I followed a guild last night when i did it so i was 100% sure.
Why would these circuits not be working? Do they need to be installed on the head to work because of some vacuum reason?
any help would be greatly appreciated. I tried everything I knew what to try, now I'm coming to the experts.
video of it. https://youtu.be/cu5QWYMjGJA |

make sure you have installed the pump jet/check valve in the float bowl. could also be that ithe check valve does not hold pressure anymore. other than that make sure the nozzle flows freely. i usually blow through them with them removed from the car with my mouth and feel for a slight bit of air coming out of the nozzle. _________________ saving a 1977 martini ... please help! The pump jets do have flow.
OMG now that you say it. before i cleaned them, i had only 1 pump jet working. after cleaning, still only 1 pump jet. (however a different one) maybe only one of the check valves is working and i just installed it in a different spot. ill go see if thats the case. thank you so much. i forgot about those. ill get back to you |
