|
|
I have a 1981 Porsche 924 that was repainted a few years ago with base/clear but sat for years until I cut&polished last year.
It has no side trim but I have ordered a set from Auto Atlanta.
My question is what dimension do I use to position the trim on doors, fenders, etc. I have seen plenty of pictures of the trim installed by no reference as to where to locate them. I would appreciate some advice on this subject.
Thanks

Take a look at any original image of a 924, especially period or from brochures and you will see it runs from the gap top of front bumper to the rear 'hump' above the rear bumper in an absolutely straight line. Run a piece of string or tape on the car front to back and attache the strips to that edge. _________________ 1980 931 - forged pistons, Piper cam, K27/26 3257 6.10 hybrid turbo, 951 FMIC, custom intake, Mittelmotor dizzy & cam pulley, H&S exhaust, GAZ Gold, Fuch'ed, Quaife
