|The time has come, it no longer makes sense to keep this one family owned since new 1979 924. I'm looking more for a right home than a price, however, looking for feedback on what to ask, I'm thinking $4k.
I'll be posting more info, however here are some details:
1979 924 n/a, ~155k
detailed records going back to org purchase
suspension bushings, motor mounts, alternator, water pump, WUR, AAR, clutch, new center cluster clock, brake system gone through, many rubber pieces, gas tank re-sealed all done in last few years. Most with upgraded parts.
paint org (repaired front valance to stock) with some normal front-end blemishes. I removed the side molding a few years ago, which took some clear coat with it. A few door dings, very presentable overall.
front seats need redone, my plan was to have redone in stock fashion.
oil pressure center gauge is on the fritz, might be an electrical issue or bad gauge.
I live downtown, walk/ride to work, and have a newer, around town car that more than meets my needs. Resting (with proper weekly exercise) in my condo heated garage, I no longer have the proper space to perform my own maintenance. This Porsche is looking for its next chapter.
Please let me know if you have thoughts on how to sell or if you have interest in the car.
