|
|
Heads up to everyone here: I will be starting to liquidate my remaining inventory and parts stash in the coming weeks. Save your pennies, I have lots of goodies.
What I plan to do is list things item by item, and post them here first. Anything that doesn't sell within a week of being posted will be auctioned on eBay.
If anyone is interested in the steal-of-the-century on 924 parts, I will sell everything I have in a single lot for $10K. It is well north of $50K worth of stuff.
I will also be listing the following cars for sale over the next several months:
1980 928
1981 924 Weissach
1978 924 Limited Edition
1981 931 Club Sport
1978 924 Polyform
1982 931 Holbert (unfinished)
1978 924 DProd replica (silver, unfinished)
1978 924 DProd replica (magenta, not running, but comes with complete Euro-spec motor)
1988 924S SE (sale pending at moment)
1980 931 race-prepped rolling chassis with complete GTR body kit
If you're interested in a car or the complete parts stash, I will deliver up to 250 miles from Woodstock IL for a flat fee of $350 + $1 per mile.
More to follow. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

Sad to hear you’re selling up Dan.
Could I make a request on behalf of the remaining members here to some how preserve the brilliant compression ratio calculator you designed? The link worked until recently and I’m over halfway through a 16v 924 conversion so it would be really useful for the next month or 2!!

I had to delete the garage.ideola.com sub-domain because people wouldn't stop placing orders, and haven't had time to manually edit the hundreds of "add to cart" buttons to disable the shopping feature.
I'll see if I can figure out a way to host just the CR calculator page on the main ideola.com domain. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

Ah, what a headache!
If you can, that would be amazing or if there is a way to add it to the main page here on .org even.

I have a prospective buyer for the parts stash. If that falls through, I'll start posting individual items. Stay tuned. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

Did you find a way to share the CR calculator?

Sorry to see it go. I'm Certainly interested in purchasing a handful of parts in the event the sale didn't go through. Or being put in contact with the purchaser of the lot.
Cheers,

Damn, I guess it has been a minute since I logged on here. I’m sorry to see the Garage go, Ideola. |

Did it already happen? I was wondering if you still had any of those 150A alternators leftover? If so, I might want one before the end of the year. _________________ '80 931 M471 - Dolomite Gray -> Monaco Blue |
