I bought a used AFM and when I got it, the power and ground wires had been snipped REALLY short
So, I attempted to solder on extensions, but I really should have checked them out more carefully, because I seem to have shorted them. I connected it up to switched B+ that I use for my radio head unit, and nothing happened. Well, something happened, because I no longer get +12V on that wire.
I didn't see, smell or hear anything obvious when it happened, so I suspected I just blew a fuse, but...I can't figure out what fuse it could be. If the diagram I'm looking at is correct, fuse 7 is radio, interior lights and clock...well that sounds promising, except my interior lights all work and the clock does too.
I think the wire was yellow with an orange or red stripe...although I could be wrong about that. Any idea what I've blown? _________________ -----------------------------------------
