Have you adjusted the float bowl level?

Disclamer: Carbs are not my forte.

Carbs Usually doesnt have returns. The floats just closes the "fill valve" needle valve. So to set the floats levels is crusial.

Safe's right. On my Webers I run a fuel pressure regulator at 2psi(max for Webers is maybe 3.5. with no return. In US Holley 804 is an inexpensive fuel pressure regulator. I also use a Carter P4070 fuel pump something like 4-8 psi output.. Many of the racers use Facet pumps, but not the really cheap cube one. Different carbs will want different fuel pressures. Some pressure regulators will have a bypass/return in them.

On the race car I have an in line pre filter (85-100m) Then run thru the pump to a stock 924 Bosch filter(interesting finding fittings) then the pressure regulator. The street car just has a really cheap($3) plastic filter from any flaps.

What kind of carb is it!?

The 40ish degree you have mounted the carbs at, is that within the allowed spec?
As Ive said, Im no carb Guru, but i think you must mount them pretty much horisontal.

Another day of testing, mounted the carburetors more horizontally. Tried to bending the tangs that adjust the float level from all they way up to all way down. Any of those didn't help and the carburetors are still flooding.
