AC compressor is rebuilt.

Does anyone know if it's normal to lower RPM when the AC compressor works?

We did a general overhaul of the brake system (calliper gasket set, brake hose, brake lines).

The air conditioner works and the compressor is dry underneath.

Some cars actually kick up the revs a bit to make up for this (normal occurrence) either by introducing a small vacuum leak, or some electronic means in newer cars, but I can't remember if these cars do either. Mine does lower a little. Certainly, it should not lower to where it is threatening to stall or anything...

Mine drops about 100 rpm.
If both fans start lower other 50 rpm.

I had to increase the idle speed to 1100 rpm to be ok. In the worst case scenario, it drops to 950 rpm and the engine runs ok. (increased temperature and AC on, head light on, etc)
