My '87 924S has been having a brake dragging issue. The pedal is really high and engages immediately when I press on it. I can hear and feel the brakes dragging, mostly the rear. The e-brake is not engaged.

I am thinking that the P.O. adjusted the pedal so high that the calipers can't fully release.

However, I am looking at this yolk and nut and not sure how it works. Do I pull the pin and then rotate the whole yolk? The only way to get enough room to do that would be to bleed the brakes, but before I do that, I want to make sure I am
1) doing this right?
2) not missing something else I should be checking first?

Thanks!

I'm guessing the calipers' sliders need cleaning.

The actuating rod is a hex piece. Loosen locknut, rotate rod.
